Your XHTML efforts are (probably) wasted
So, last night I read this blog post about starting to use the HTML 5 doctype. That got me curious, because according to them it’s perfectly fine to use the HTML 5 doctype which is gloriously simplified compared to other doctypes:

Now using Disqus for commenting... and loving it!
So today I decided that I wanted a better commenting system than the simple “end your post with a question mark” system that tumblr has. So I did as the brilliant tumblr peeps recommend and set up Disqus as a commenting system.
The whole process was pretty painless and only required some relatively minor tweaking and now I’ve got a full-featured commenting system. Spam...

I just applied to be a contenstant on Wipeout
Yeah, so you know all those douchebags who fall on their faces on ABC’s hit show “Wipeout”? That could be me! I’ve never tried to apply for anything like this before, they had me fill out this whole long questionnaire about all kinds of stuff, such as specifying my skydiving skills on a scale of 1 to 7. It’d be awesome if they picked me… probably won’t...
